British guitarist Mikhail Asanovic has performed extensively in the UK and abroad as a soloist, and with his electroacoustic fusion band The Showhawk Duo.
Mik started playing piano at the age of 5, and picked up guitar at the age of 13. He studied classical guitar at the RNCM in Manchester for 5 years, completing his BMus (Hons) and his PGDip under Craig Ogden and Gordon Crosskey.

He has recorded a total of seven albums, three solo albums and four with the Showhawk Duo. He is currently working on his eighth album which is due for full release in summer of 2019.
He has appeared on BBC Radio 1 on the Nick Grimshaw’s Breakfast Show, he did a 40 minute live broadcast for the LAD Bible, BBC radio Bristol, he has performed at most of the UK's large festivals including Main Stage at Bestival, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness, Somersault, Lost Village, Boomtown and more. He has played sell-out shows on The Showhawk Duo's 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 UK tours, and headlined The O2 Forum in London. He had five star reviews and an official sell out show at Edinburgh Fringe. International performances include F1 Grand Prix in Singapore, Seychelles, club tours in Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands and a 20 - date residency at Pacha in Ibiza.
